The stickers are for removing and reinstalling as well as removing lint or hairs, which I found useful to minimize bubbles. It took me a while to apply because I wanted it just right with minimal bubbles but it's done. Once applied right, you can't tell there'd anything on it without looking closely. Mine was Matte finish, I saw some others weren't but once I removed the 2nd layer, underneath was Matt. I love the Matt finish and that it's barely there but will keep normal wear and tear from daily use like smudging, smoothing and whatnot off the actual track pad. The feel. Is nice, smooth Matte finish and use of the track pad is nice.
