I've dropped them a couple times and one actually cracked due to them being thin plastic, get moisture out of a shoe well and even though it smells really weird, it gets the scent out of shoes really well. one of the cons is that they are decently large, and don't make that much noise shaking around in shoes, so I tend to forget I put them in there. But they are fine.
