Nice towel rail, well made with no sharp edges and a large adhesive contact area. I have noticed a few comments about lack of adhesion, this must be down to lack of proper surface preparation. I will explain how I prepared and stuck the towel rail to a tiled wall (now the bad boy is stuck and going nowhere). Firstly degrease the tiles where you want to stick it to, for this I used sachet containing an alcohol spectacle lens cleaner and rubbed it all over the tiles. Let the tiles dry for a few minutes and don’t touch the cleaned tiles until fitment. Next the important bit, using a hot air gun or hairdryer on high heat, heat the tiles until they feel quite warm to the touch in the area where the adhesive will go. When the tiles are heated, quickly remove the 3M adhesive’s backing strip from the rail and warm the sticky side. This will make the adhesive very sticky and you will only have one chance to position the rail correctly, once the adhesive grabs the tile and you press the rail onto the tile that’s it, permanent fix, it’s not coming off again. It’s recommended that you leave the rail 24hours before you hang towels to let the adhesive have time to cure. I fitted mine this way and it is super stuck now and would be difficult to remove. It’s all in the preparation.
