My surgeon initially recommended it years ago. I just found the really small amount left over from years ago. I began applying it to my GIGANTIC battle wound heart surgery left me with. Applying it faithfully 2x daily on a clean dry scar will eventually leaving you wondering where it went. Because my scar extends from my neck down my sternum I purchased the 50 gm bottle. I apply a pea sized amount using my finger and a thin layer kinda massaging into the scar let it dry and get dressed. I have not noticed any transfer on my clothes.
