After 2 weeks of being stuck with instant coffee whilst the work was being done, we were looking forward to a nice, proper moka made coffee but sadly it seems this pot doesn’t want to kick out much coffee - barely even 1 cups worth and it always tastes so burnt, despite all our efforts to ensure the seal is not obstructed, trying brews on different temps, etc. Nothing seems to work. Makes lovely strong coffee without creating a zillion pods for landfill. (I dump my grounds in the garden borders.)Slower than instant or a French Press, but makes a delicious cup of coffee. Easy to clean and easy to use.I put boiling water in the bottom. Add two to three spoonfuls of ground coffee (doesn’t have to be espresso) and put on burner. Walk away and wait for the percolating to begin. You can look on YouTube for instructions.Don’t leave on the burner too long or you’ll turn the pot a new colour. I did and now it reminds me of a 1970’s fondue pot. Love it even more.
