I recently upgraded my Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB with the Hudson Hi-Fi Acrylic Turntable Mat in blue, and the difference is immediately noticeable compared to the stock felt mat. The mat looks fantastic — it gives the whole setup a clean, high-end audiophile vibe that just feels more premium. The 11.75” size fits perfectly, and the label recess is a nice touch that keeps records sitting flat and secure. What really surprised me was the sonic improvement. I used the new mat to re-check my anti-skating setting and realized it was slightly off before. After fine-tuning, the difference was huge — much tighter imaging, better clarity, and especially noticeable with vocals, which now sound smoother and more present.
