Engineered for versatility and durability, it fits comfortably under helmets and works as a face mask, neck gaiter, or scarf—perfect for motorcycling, skiing, cycling, and more. Combining advanced moisture-wicking and cooling technology, it keeps you dry and protected during intense activities, making it a must-have for active professionals who demand both style and function. ## Description Keep riding through the cold season. The Fuinloth balaclava is a thin polyester ski mask designed to be worn under your helmet, staying put from the morning commute to the weekend ride. The UPF 50 fabric blocks over 98% of UVA/UVB rays, useful in winter too when the sun sits low and snow reflects the light. The breathable polyester wicks away moisture and dries fast, so the fabric does not feel damp under the helmet after a hard ride or a long day on the road. Designed as a helmet liner, it fits under motorcycle, ski and cycling helmets without interfering with glasses. It shields the face from wind and dust without feeling stuffy, even when worn for long hours. Versatile as ever: wear it as a balaclava, neck gaiter, headband or light face cover for motorbike, scooter, cycling, skiing, snowboarding, running or the daily commute in cold, changeable weather. Easy care: machine washable, keeps its shape and stretch wash after wash. Unisex standard size for men and women, available in several colours. Includes one Fuinloth balaclava that packs down small enough to keep in a jacket pocket or top box. The colour looks similar enough to the picture, though it is not very soft or comfortable to wear. It fits onto the head and it is stretchy, but the material is a little stiff for the face. It is not see-through, but it is quite thin. Quality is okay, but I wouldn't buy again. Has many uses, but maybe not the best choice for actually going to ski. Was okay for filming, as it did the job, but maybe wouldn't work for sports, as our actors kept removing these to breath and they weren't moving much ## Frequently Bought Together - Fuinloth Balaclava Ski Mask, Motorcycle UV Protector Scarf, Summer Cooling Neck Gaiter for Men/Women - Achiou Ski Mask for Men Women, Balaclava Face Cover, Shiesty Mask UV Protector Lightweight for Motorcycle Snowboard - Balaclava Face Mask Adjustable Windproof UV Protection Hood --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/386542738-balaclava-ski-mask-motorcycle-winter-uv-protection-unisex](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/386542738-balaclava-ski-mask-motorcycle-winter-uv-protection-unisex) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
