**Q: Is the 12v negative attached to the AC gorund?**
A: No it is not connected, they are two separate sections. but depending on your application you can connect the negative terminal from the power supply to ground, as an example think of a car the negative terminal from the battery is connected to the chassis of the car and that is the ground reference for all the devices connected in the car.

**Q: How many strands of the alitove ws2811 12v led pixel can i operate out of this?**
A: It’s a 60 watt power supply, so it depends on the wattage of your leds. 
Watts = volts X amps

**Q: What's Barrel Type? The average person doesn't have a micrometer to measure with; let alone if they don't have one to measure.**
A: Get a micrometer on ebay! They're cheap and very worthwhile. Anyways this has 5.5mm OD, 2.1mm ID. A similar variation that this would not work with is the same 5.5mm OD but 2.5mm ID - this type of plug will usually have a yellow plastic insert on the male end, compared to a black insert on the 2.1mm ID plug sold here.
