There is a CD that accompanies the book so practice is easier and if the occasion arises to perform, the CD can be used to accompany the singer. The pitch range of the book is varied enough to supply altos and sopranos with a nice choice of songs. The only problem I had with the book was some of the selections are from musicals that are really old and have not been redone recently enough for a teen to be familiar with the songs, but it does supply a good musical history because of that. Many of the songs are from musicals that teens have grown up with so the interest of the teen in those songs is high. Great buy that will provide years of entertainment and instruction! Review: Great item - Excellent book for beginners and professionals. The choice of songs is amazing with a couple of titles you do not find easily. They come with piano backing tracks played by a skilled professionals. They can come very useful for rehearsals and auditions and not only for kids. I bought a second hand one and it came with a cd, so I cannot comment on the downloads of the audio online version. Highly recommended for professionals use. ## Features - The Teen's Musical Theatre Collection (Book/Online Audio) - This publication is a hit!
