Review: Different but good - This dyneema is slightly different than the Samson Amsteel. Its much flatter and has 12 strands instead of 8. It was a little harder to splice at first, but I quickly got the hang of it. Overall it's been great for making my whoopie slings.

Super strong and durable. My FIRST Robotics Competition team has been using this on robots for years to operate winches and elevators. This cord is incredibly strong and durable. It easily lifts a 150 lb robot for hundreds of cycles without breaking. The breaking strength for the 1/8" size is about 1600 lbs. Highly recommend when strength and durability are needed
