## Description

Protect yourself and your workers from rooftop falls with the Qual-Craft Bucket of Safety Kit. The sturdy bucket holds everything you need to be OSHA-compliant for rooftop work, including a temper reusable anchor, 50-foot lifeline, and harness. With everything packed together, you can keep track of your safety equipment when traveling to job sites. Reusable Heavy-Duty Temper Anchor The Bucket of Safety comes with a temper roof anchor that easily installs with included screws on most roofs up to 12/12 roof pitch. The anchor is designed with offset holes down the center to avoid truss splitting, while the lifeline simply clips to the attached D-ring. This anchor is designed from thick plated metal for durable, long-lasting use, and meets all standards for fall arrest. 50-Foot Lifeline for Maximum Safety To provide superior safety, the high-strength, polyester/polypropylene lifeline features three strands and measures 5/8 inches thick. This UV resistant material won't absorb moisture, and effectively resists damaging kinks and knots. A built-in, shock-absorbing lanyard softens the impact of a fall, limiting the maximum arresting force to 900 pounds. As a bonus, the lifeline includes a static-type rope-positioning device with an 18-inch extension so you can keep the rope where you want it. The harness was quick to adjust and put on and take off. Clipping up to the rope with the shackle was easy. The shackle moved up and down the safety rope with one hand operation making it easy to take up slack when needed. The anchor looked a little different that what is pictured and could fit any pitch roof to flat. I won't do work up high without it anymore. I will probably buy some permanent anchors to leave in place on my house for future re-use and maintenance. It all fits in the 5 gallon bucket it came in when done for easy storage. Great product at a very affordable price.

I'm a rock climber and usually just rig something from climbing gear for projects, but this was a big roof project and I wanted to try the real deal. For less than the price of a skimpy climbing harness you get a nice sturdy length of rope with very burly and yet easy to use hardware. A very solid harness that, although it took me awhile to figure out how to make the one size fits most fit me, ended up quite comfortable. I felt safe and secure all day. Everything you need is in the box including the choice of nails or screws to attach the anchor! Only downside is I probably have 5-10 more days up on the roof to get that thing redone! At least I'll stay safe....

Some reviews discuss the harness size being an issue. It will accommodate most Men sizes. Harnesses are suppose to be snug and this one adjust so it would be. All the material was high quality. I used it to take down a 12 pitch barn roof and it worked flawlessly at least for not actually testing it by falling but I knew it was there if I needed it which thankfully I did not fall and fully test its ability. After installation and use I am sure it would have saved my life if I needed it to. This is a great dependable long lasting harness. I gave it five stars because it was comfortable and fit well and was high quality construction and material with great instructions and a nice bucket to keep it all organized. I highly recommend to any one needing piece of mind when up high.
