In particular he wants to see pictures of whales. We got him this book for Christmas as a part of a whale themed package and I have to say it's great. There are lots of pictures and because it's geared for a young reader it a fairly short book so we are able to read it to him. I will note however that this book it only about sperm whales which worked great for us since he's interested in learning about all whales. We believe in the infallible nature of scripture including the Genesis history. I understand that not everyone feels the same. So, as a publisher they have a dilemma. They could solve this in two ways...1 offend one group of people or 2 document as many observable facts about whales as possible in an age appropriate manner.
