There is a main hash-mark that is set to zero. As you apply force, the hash-mark will move along the bottom. When it lines up with the value hash-mark (i.e. 25 inch-lbs) that is how much torque you are applying at that point in time. But if you keep moving it, you will apply more torque. If you went halfway between the 25 and 35 hash-mark, you will essentially be applying 30 inch lbs. **Q: Are there no audiable clicks ?** A: No clicks or tactile feel as the torque increases.
