Are you serious ?** A: You can see the beam of light from the torch same as a search helicopter light it in the sky, and it will light up a building 3/4 streets away on main beam, as for hitting the moon not a chance. But only lasts 40/60 mins it takes a lot of battery to do full power **Q: What is the actual brightness of this touch? I somehow doubt it's 90,000 Lumens** A: The actual beam off light when used in dark outside will be like high beam on a car but much stronger, the wide angle beam is strong enough to light a full football pitch but will only last 40/60 mins on max power, it a strong and powerful torch for the price, as for lumens I have no clue what the difference of 90k is but this torch makes it feel it’s upto to standards **Q: Are the batteries proprietary or can I use standard rechargeable batteries and if so, which size?** A: 18650 is the battery size needed, and any brand that’s rechargeable will work inside the torch within the plastic tube that fits in the slots into torch, only gives 40mins on max light so maybe a better brand battery will last longer too. **Q: WHAT watt led is this ?** A: No info on wattage, but the blurb states 90000 lumens, which is an alternative measurement of the brightness. I can tell you that it is PLENTY bright. However the battery life is extremely poor, at full brightness it last for roughly 40mins , medium probably 1hr 20mins and dimmed is probably 2hrs.Using actual batteries instead of the rechargeable one that comes with it reduces the brightness at all levels and the batteries dies quicker than the original reachable one.It gets very hot as you continue to use though.Apart from that everything else is fantastic.
