**Q: Can you put a light kit on this**
A: I didn't put a kit on mine. I use pocket lights for overhead lighting. That way the uniqueness of the fan is on full display. It's really stunning & quite the signature piece of my den.

**Q: Can this be used with an 8’ ceiling**
A: It would not be safe if used iwkth an 8 foot ceiling.  It’s too large and would be too low.

**Q: What is the length of the down rod?**
A: The windmills come with a 6" down rod. Additional sizes can be purchased.

**Q: Is this fan suitable for use in a room with a 10 foot ceiling?**
A: Yes, I had it installed in a room with a 9’ ceiling. Very quiet fan.

It took about an hour to assemble this light to hang but wasn't difficult. Heads up you need a battery for the wall mounted remote as it doesn't come with one - this is required in order for it to work. It's a beautiful fan that we get lots of compliments on!

We had installed in our new bedroom in the country Assembly and Install was easy The motor is humming and clicking on speeds of 5 & 6. Not seeing any warranty as of today and we purchased in January. Not happy.
