## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why and how do you wash it? I thought it was a sauce.**
A: Why would you wash it? It is smashed grilled egg plant that is already peeled.

**Q: How long can an Opened jar be used?**
A: If you are making baba ganoush, by just adding mayo and garlic it won't last long, soooo good! A jar typically doesn't make it longer than a week in our refrigerator and it's just fine, beyond that I wouldn't know. Ordering the 6 pack is much cheaper too, that's what we do. Also, we really load up the garlic because of the health benefits. Since regular mayo may not be ideal health wise, we use avocado mayo "Fallow your heart" brand, in the cooler section, a bit more expensive, but worth it, we no longer miss the regular mayo. best!

**Q: Can someone please describe what it is supposed to taste like? Mine tastes so bad, I was wondering if something is wrong with it.**
A: It is supposed to taste like r fire roasted eggplant. It is not supposed to be eaten plain from the jar it is supposed to be used to make baba ghanouj. Many recipes on line but basically you add lemon juice minced garlic salt and tahini and it makes perfect baba ghanouj every time.

So happy to see this on Amazon instead of having to go to a specialty store. Same quality as in store. Honestly this stuff is delicious- great quality roasted eggplant. I just add in some fresh garlic and it’s perfect.
