However: This router can be used in either router mode, or access point mode. It does not have a "repeater mode". (A repeater acts as an extension of your regular wireless router. It picks up the wireless signal and essentially acts as a wireless relay. Your device connects to the repeater, which forwards [via wireless] the signal to the main router.) So, you would either have to use it as a replacement router, or put it into "access point" mode. In access point mode, it must have a wired connection to the main router.
