**Q: Can you use this motor vertically?**
A: I would say no. Reason is, there is nothing that "locks" the spit rod into the motor. With the motor at the top, the rod would fall out, and if it was at the bottom, all the juices would run into the motor.

A: 5-8 rpm

This Rotisserie arrived on time and well packaged.Its a universal -I dose fit my Nex grill. So far its handled chickens and Pig tenderloin no problem.The Tongs are complementary size.I advise not to leave the motor out in the weather as it will go bad. A good buy for the money.cleaning is a little difficult as the shaft is in multiple pieces.Properly taken care of and cleaned this rotisserie will last for yrs.
