**Q: What material are they made from?**
A: I'm pretty sure they are primarily cotton (probably 80% of more) with a little polyester and spandex. Very comfortable, padded and soft inside. Like a cozy sweatshirt for your feet and legs. Great length, foldable on top and breathable, too. As good or better than the socks that come with the boot, and at a much better price.

**Q: what are these socks made of?**
A: Cotton maybe.   Stay up which I appreciated not slipping down in cast.   Liked product.

**Q: Is it ok to machine wash them?**
A: Yes, the socks can be washed by machine, it is easy to care, thank you

I have a bruise on my leg which unfortunately is expected to take as long as a couple of months to heal., During that time I have to wear a tall orthopedic boot that protects the bruise but also creates areas of potential rubbing These socks are just the right thickness to provide good protection without adding undue bulk. They’re soft and easy to put on with just enough stretch to keep their shape. I like them so much I just ordered another two pairs.
