It fit the bill perfectly, preventing any burns even after a lot of sweating. It also has a pleasant fresh scent compared to the either coconut or chemical smells normally associated with sunscreen.I wouldn't call it "non-greasy" though, just "less greasy", as its still not the most pleasant to apply. However, it does absorb well and the extended protection meant it wasn't something I had to deal with often. It is also a cream and doesn't in any way resemble a gel, so I'm not sure where the term "sun gel" came from. Even the marketing images on the Life Jacket website clearly show it is a white cream.Obviously this isn't the best value in compact form but it is very convenient. I'd recommend trying it either way and will definitely buy a bigger bottle next time. I didn't tell him this one was dearer than the normal ones that I buy him, I thought I would see what he thought.After he had been using it for a couple of weeks I asked him what he thought and he said yeah it's fine. So a little disappointing as I wanted him to be a bit more enthusiastic.When probed he said that it went on well and wasn't sticky and sunk into his skin well.
