Review: Total game changer for kava prep - We use this with our Vanuatu waka and it has completely simplified the process. Traditional kneading is great, but this lets you get a solid shell in a fraction of the time with way less mess. The screen holds the grind well, the flow is smooth when you shake it, and cleanup is quick. The strength comes out surprisingly good for such a fast method. We still do traditional prep sometimes, but this is our go-to for convenience. One thing to know: you do need a shaker bottle to use it properly. Once you have that, it works perfectly and is super easy to use. If you drink kava regularly, this is absolutely worth it. Huge time saver and very well designed.

**Q: Do you need a ball for kava if you have an infuser?**
A: For powdered kava you need a very fine mesh so that you don't get powder in your drink.  I don't think an infuser would have a fine enough mesh.

**Q: Do I need to strain kava after I use the aluballs?**
A: Nope.

**Q: About how much Kava can you fill without overflowing or clogging?**
A: The manufacturer says two tablespoons max, which is enough to fill one half of the ball. If you want to use more than 2 tbsp, then you can use two balls in the same shaker.

**Q: Is there a way to replace the micron mesh filter. The mesh on my ball got torn up after only a month.**
