I used it together with towing straps to help take down oak limbs above where I could go with a ladder. (I was removing the whole tree for fire safety—NorCal). The chain is thinner than a regular chain saw and light, but worked smoothly and beautifully. The strap handles put up with a lot of abuse as well and show little wear. I now keep it with my emergency gear and am buying another for extended camping trips. The simple fact is you will get worn out before this product ever does. It takes some cardio to maintain a rhythm, but the blade will do its part. This costs more than other brands, but think of this like buying any other good tool.
