A: I would say it's 1 1/2 inches

**Q: Would this work for pumping Honey into smaller bottles?**
A: That’s an interesting question. I would guess yes if the honey is good and warm/hot and no if it is cold.

I bought this for a 5 gal. paint pail to make it easier to fill my cut pail and roller tray. It works awesome and was exactly what I was looking for. It is well make of rust proof steel(galvanized) and don't have to worry how long it stays in my paint pail....2 thumbs up for sure. It is made to last for years.
