We leave ours out all year and we live around all weather types so the durability is it. It brings the perfect amount of shade for our patio so we can stay cool while the kids play outside Review: It saved my life (probably) - This is not advertised as nor should it be used as a safety device. I had an accident recently when I slipped on my metal roof and slid all the way down and off the side at a very high speed. My husband had installed this sun shade about a month before using the proper anchoring kit. It happened to be there where I fell off the roof, and it caught me and held long enough for my husband to bring a ladder to get me off of it. The fabric had deformed quite a bit where I landed, but over the next few hours with a little sun and wind on it, it returned to its original shape, and now there is no evidence of the impact at all. Again, this is not a safety net, it should not be used as one. It does seem pretty durable though, and the shade it provides lowers the temperature of our yard quite a lot. 10/10 ## Features - Material: Crafted from 185 GSM HDPE, blocking up to 95% of harmful UV rays while allowing airflow. Measure twice and drill once !! **Q: How many mounting kits will I need？** A: Just rope **Q: I want 12' of post above ground. should i use wood 4x4's or steel poles? how deep? how wide on hole 4 cement? thanks!** A: steel post, this will catch the wind and must be anchored very securely **Q: Do your shades have a warranty and how long does it last? What is considered a guarantee case, and who should I contact in case of issue?** A: Highly recommend this shade sale my first I purchased was three years ago it still looks like new I leave it up in the winter summer spring fall it stands up well to High-winds hail snow rain anyway I’m not for sure about the warranty I think they say they’ll last you know 5+ years And I might be wrong on that but I can tell you that mine still look new I have recently purchased my second one this year and my first one I bought over three years ago still looks as new as the one I bought this year so as to who you would contact with issues it would be the The merchant that you brought it from. Good luck and I hope you decide to purchase one. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mom approved *by O***A on September 21, 2026* You know for how cheap these are they are awesome.
