Review: It's like heaven!! - So far this has fit the bill on what I was searching for. It appears to be of good quality and it is exceptionally very comfortable. I got the Queen size and I'm loving it, feels like luxury. It is high density, heavy, and it is a medium firm plushy feel. You don't feel yourself sinking into it when you roll over, and aren't trying to climb out of a deep hole either, easy roll over. I do have a super firm bed from Bowles Mattress, the HD one that you can flip over and use both sides and I wanted to build upon it to my liking. Started with a firm latex thinking that would do but it didn't have enough cush feel like a cloud, so I got this and put on top of that and now I'm in heaven. So far no aches or pains in my lower back or anywhere. I also have a medium firm cloud temperpedic bed which is so comfortable when you go to sleep in it, but I would wake up in PAIN in my lower back, so that led me to this bed I have now. This is a 2 thumbs up mattress topper for me so far!! (Just wanted to also add, that this doesn't have an odor, it doesn't slip around on my bed and it doesn't sleep hot either like my Temperpedic Cloud does. Review: Has potential - Like others who choose to buy those product I have a sleep number bed circa 2016. We paid $8,400 for a split king. I absolutely never found my right number. My husband has always fluctuated between moderately firm to firm as I felt trapped by a massive purchase. Recently I finally decided I needed to do something besides replacing my half of the bed. I researched and researched and after recently sleeping on a Purple mattress which was heavenly I thought yep I could deal with the memory foam. I ordered a 3-in. It does have a little bit of an off smell now that it's been about 6 days after the video. It's probably the only thing I'm not a fan of but I know it's not a strong as the day I unpacked it. I am a size 14 and I sink in pretty well. And I don't have any real problem flipping from side to side or getting up. And while it's made the mattress so much more comfortable, I might have overdone the thickness. But you know it's only been five nights total. I think it's a little early. What I do like is that while sleeping on my side my arm hasn't fallen asleep which almost always happened no matter how I had my sleep number set. I also absolutely know I haven't been having pressure points at my hips or knee. That too is wonderful. The only area that hasn't had big change is my lower back which is just a good back that has had a few surgeries and it's challenged at times. So I might be asking for a lot for this to be the game changer but it does have potential. I also adore that this model comes with straps and frankly I loved that the cover already came on the foam piece... Some brands come with just the foam and you have to put (or not) a slipcover on it. Or it comes with a slipcover separate and I'm just of no mind to struggle with the initial set up!! I let it air out for 48 hours. I had it in our guest room with the ceiling fan going and after 24 hours flipped it over so the other side would air out... I think the smell is going to go away probably in another week. Anyway we got it on top of my side of the bed. (BTW, the twin XL is very one person friendly... But when the weight and the piece of the foam is unrolled and unsquished it becomes a little more gangly so if you're working on stairs it's probably smart to have somebody working with you.) I adjusted the straps to be pretty snug. Five sleeping nights later, and I get in and out of bed at least three times during the night, the piece has stayed put. If you do use the sleep number bed and sleep number sheets-- I have read that some people thought it pushes the limits of the sheets but my sheets fit exactly perfectly with this 3-in topper. I have no other memory foam or hybrid to compare this to so I really cannot say how it compares. But I'm giving it 5* because it really seems to be exactly what it's advertised to be. The price is more than fair for this twin XL size. I happen to really like the cover and it seems to all be staying on my bed okay. So I guess I'd say it's a good risk to take.

**Q: Will this make a mattress that is too firm more plush and relieve pressure points? Our way too firm mattress hurts! How long does this last?**
A: Forget what the advertising says. I am 6ft, 220lbs and this is extremely soft to the point that you sink in it, sleep crooked all night and wake up in pain. Even my wife, who's been looking for a soft mattress topper, said the same thing and she is 5'8'', 130 lbs. Otherwise quality product and materials but not for us. Would buy from Viscosoft again, just not sure is they make a more firm mattress

**Q: Does this mattress topper contour to your body?**
A: Yes it does contour to my body...i am 5'9" " and 130 lbs.....i also have back issues....i get a great nights sleep with no aches when i get up and not getting up several times through the night like before...mine has a slight odor but nothing i cant breath through..not an irritating smell....

**Q: Has someone had this topper for longer then a year. How is it holding up?**
A: I've had this mattress for under a year. I got it as a temporary replacement because the bed we have I can feel every single spring. It's getting to that point again, it was super comfortable when I first got it but after some time it just kept getting worse. I'm looking for a new bed and topper. For the cost? Not worth it.

**Q: How do you send the gel foam mattress topper back for a refund once it has been opened and expanded?**
A: We are returning ours and amazon sent a full refund. They told us to just dispose of it on our own since it wasn’t easy to send back and for sanitary purposes, they can’t resell it anyway.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Have had SO many different toppers, but THIS one is Quality!

Obviously I will update if anything changes over time, but this "ViscoSoft 3.5 lbs. Density 3-Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper (Queen) – Includes Ultra Soft Removable Cover" right off the bat seems a lot better quality than the many I've purchased in the past, including the highly -reviewed NovaForm one from C O S T C O that ended up being a dud after seeming great for a brief time. This one I feel is different because it is so much heavier of a weight and doesn't stay indented like the others. It's hard to explain, but it is soft without sinking in to it. We have a Serta pillowtop mattress that failed and sunk in the middle after only a few months of bliss. ALL mattresses are horrible quality these days, regardless of brands or reviews and there is nothing changing, so we had to get creative with toppers, which led us to the long road to this one. My husband wants a firm mattress & I can't sleep on firm & we both have neck & back issues. THIS topper seems strangely suited to both of us. I watched their video (which, GREAT job by the guy talking about it, very interesting) was informative & like all of the unique traits. I will without fail change this review if anything changes because the whole bedding situation in this country (and lack of quality or workmanship) is my pet peeve & am tired of being scammed. I do not believe this will be the case here, because there does seem to be pride in workmanship. UPDATE 3/02/21: We recently stopped using the one we had but will now likely buy another of this same one. We have found that ALL memory foam degrades (not something you'll see, but you'll feel it in body aches), though most are 6months to a year before you start feeling the effects, this one happens to have lasted longer. Another thing we have recently done is watch videos on You tube re: removing the innards of our regular mattress with springs (they say the problem is almost NEVER the springs, it's the memory foam layers) and replaced it with a "Sleep On Latex" (great company/website btw, not the one used in the videos) medium firm 3" LATEX pad, enclosed with a mattress case, then got another latex topper to actually use as a topper (this one in the SOFTEST rating (which is NOT soft when you are talking latex, trust me, get the soft for one on top). This will be a lifetime mattress set-up that solves the no good premade mattress at any cost anymore problem. Being the "Princess & the Pea" that I am, I still prefer to have this memory foam topper on top AS WELL, but unfortunately it will just need to be swapped out every couple years for new (while the latex ones remain a stabile foundation). Anyway this is a great topper that should at least give you a few years of great rest. The old one will go on a rarely used guest bed. ***UPDATE 12/3/22 Rotation/turning 180 degrees worked! The second one lives on (and I now realize I prob could have been doing this with the first one) UPDATE 11/25/22: Starting to get those familiar body aches a year & a half into the 2nd order of this, which is a frustrating but unfortunately expected part of this process, and much longer than any other brand in the past. What I am going to try this time is rotating the pad. If that doesn't work, we will swap the newer one for the original (currently on unused bed). If that doesn't work, we will reluctantly come back for a 3rd (it really is the only option out there anymore, and this is definitely the best choice vs the ones that degrade at the 6 mo point).
