These are the only ones that I have ever seen with this ability. I shortened them by about 6 inches and they work perfectly for me. I have enough different band sets that I can leave them set up for each exercise that I do so once I set them I no longer need to adjust them. The adjustment process takes a little trial and error to set as there will be some slippage when performing the adjustment so it is not something that you want to be changing frequently.Dislike: The handles in this set are on the small side. They are barely usable for me as the straps rub my gloved hands in use. I wear medium to large size men's gloves.I have not yet calibrated these bands for their resistance value but I will do eventually as I found that it is needed for every band set brand that I have ever acquired. I have actually had a 40lb band have a significantly higher measured resistance value than the 50lb band from the same set! I do this with a digital fishing scale and measure the resistance at the 2.5 x stretch value.
