The new controller is essentially an updated version of my old one with the WiFi module already installed. Replacing the old one with the new one was simple but not easy due to my lack basic electrical knowledge. The problem was that the Rainbird instructions show the wires to each station attached old school, looped around the bolt when, in reality the wire is shoved in straight and tightened down. I only figured that out by digging the old unit out of the trash. After that it was just a matter of minutes and the job was done. Setup was relatively easy although I did have some trouble with the connectivity also due to my 20th Century mentality. The unit functions as intended. Delivery was prompt and complete.
