I used these on my entry doors with automatic locks installed above them. Works and looks great. For bathrooms and bedrooms I used the Casey handles with lock. Very well made. **Q: If the privacy model is unlocked. Is the other side unlocked as well??** A: Yes. The thing is basically an internet controlled deadbolt **Q: Where is the manual?** A: Haha, no manual! Its basically just 2 pieces, a backplate that you screw to the door, then place the handle on the backplate and turn to lock in place. If youre like me, not intuitive, it can be frustrating when things dont come with instructions, but at least i wish they came with an illustration. ## Frequently Bought Together - Kwikset Casey Interior Privacy Door Handle with Lock, Door Lever For Bathroom and Bedroom, Matte Black Reversible Keyless Turn Lock, with Microban Protection - Kwikset 660 Contemporary Deadbolt Deadbolt Lock, Matte Black Square Exterior Keyed Front Entry Door, Pick Resistant SmartKey Rekey Security, Single Cylinder Dead Bolt --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/364496906-kwikset-casey-privacy-door-lever-with-lock-matte-black](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/364496906-kwikset-casey-privacy-door-lever-with-lock-matte-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
