The flashing light codes are very easy to understand and it took less than a minute to get acquainted with. I don't even need to remember to turn it off! After 10 minutes without being paired, it automatically does so. I just turn my TV off and hit the sack.My wife and I have been using this for the last couple weeks to watch TV (ours is a Samsung smart TV so it has Bluetooth as a sound output option, deafening the built in speakers). In a new house with our 6mo asleep in the next room over, we are worried about sound travel so we plugged two sets of wired headphones into this and paired it to the TV. Works like a charm!The sound quality isn't perfect. There is some attenuation in the highs and lows compared to what we're used to but the sound is crisp and clear regardless. We paired it with ATH M20s, so I don't have a lot to go on with rating sound quality outside of those.I didn't rate the battery life because we keep this plugged into a wall outlet at our bedside. Now we have 3 of these for use with vintage hi-fi amps. Sound quality is excellent. No tinny bass, sounds the same as if you wired it directly with RCA cables. Battery life is quite good and syncs easily.The only minor complaint is you may have to toss the charger cable or RCA to 3.5mm cable.
