They are also voiced a little differently as well. **Q: Tell me these speakers will sound a whole lot better than my Polk tsi200 and a sub. I’m thinking of a pair of these are they worth the difference** A: They will definitely be fuller sounding. I use a 15 sub with my home theater but they could stand alone. **Q: Are these sold as a pair or individually?** A: Hello and thank you for your question. The Polk Audio ES60 tower speakers are sold individually. **Q: I cannot remove the red & black plastic to push banana plug. I tried different knives & have done this with many speakers. Is there a trick to it?** A: I also had a difficult time removing the caps. What I ended up doing, it worked quite well, was to use a very small screwdriver, one that I usually use for small electronics or eyeglass work (Flathead not Phillips of course), and used this small screwdriver to pry out the plastic cap and it worked like a snap. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth every penny *by on Reviewed in the United States September 25, 2026* I did not expect these to sound as good as they do. They look great, but I was pleasantly surprised how well they sounded. I upgraded from a Polk sub/sat system tk these towers and I felt like I was at a movie theater or concert. They're loud enough and very clear. I'm satisfied ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sound great *by on Reviewed in the United States January 11, 2026* These are premium speakers. I've had all kinds and was skeptical about the woofer sizes but the bass is fine and they rock the house. I bought 4 cause I like to jam. Pretty expensive but I can't complain. They are what I wanted and sound awesome and my amp is only about 50 watts. I still can only turn it up a little over half and I think they will last longer than all the other speakers I've had before. I would buy again. No damage from shipping so that was a bonus. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Polk Audio speakers *by on Reviewed in the United States March 17, 2022* I have been a fan of Polk Audio for decades, and have a pair of their bookshelf speakers from the 1980s that still sound amazing. So Polk was on my short list when looking for some new speakers for my home theater audio system. I had tiny Klipsch with a subwoofer, and it just wasn't great for our large room.I selected the ES60 towers, and frankly bought them without an audition, but took a chance based on the reviews of their Signature line, and the promise that the Elite Signature would be an improvement. I wasn't disappointed. The ES60s are very well balanced, with a clean top end that is very detailed. As I'm getting older, I've got that high frequency notch in my hearing, and while I want clarity in the highs, anything too bright is harsh and quickly tiring, which I felt the Klipsch were.I usually listen to the female voice when I test speakers, and Linda Ronstadt's Lush Life was my first test. It rendered her voice beautifully, and no chestiness or boominess in the mid range was apparent.I then pulled out an old DMP recording - Flim and the BB's Tunnel, which is an amazingly well-recorded CD. This is a challenging recording for a system that can't keep up with the dynamics, and the Polks (and my Denon receiver) did just great. Bass was extended without being over the top, and was very controlled. The sax is prominent on this album, and a good speaker will reveal the nice reediness and detail of the instrument, which was nice.Piano is another instrument that is revealing, and there was a warmth and clarity that was lovely. When a piano string is struck, you want to hear that attack, and it was perfect.Soundstage was very good, and fills the room very well. My furniture placement is a bit tricky, and I have several off-axis seating positions, and the wide dispersion of the ES60s allowed those spots to still have a balanced soundstage. All in all, I'm very pleased and these should serve me well for many years. ## Frequently Bought Together - Polk Signature Elite ES60 Tower Speaker - Hi-Res Audio Certified, Dolby Atmos & DTS:X Compatible, 1" Tweeter & Three 6.5" Woofers, Power Port Technology for Effortless Bass, Contemporary Walnut - Polk Signature Elite ES35 Slim Center Channel Speaker - Hi-Res Audio Certified, Dolby Atmos & DTS:X Compatible, 1" Tweeter & (6) 3" Woofers, Dual Power Port for Effortless Bass, Contemporary Walnut - Polk Signature Elite ES90 Height Module Speaker (Pair) for Immersive Overhead Sound, Terylene Dome Tweeter, Mica-Fortified Polypropylene Midrange Woofer, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, & IMAX Enhanced, Walnut --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/363475434-polk-audio-signature-elite-es60-tower-speaker-single-contemporary-walnut](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/363475434-polk-audio-signature-elite-es60-tower-speaker-single-contemporary-walnut) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
