I must admit I did a practice stitch out to make sure I could only use one layer. Just like it says, it tore away cleanly from the stitch out. This was a bit less expensive than the corresponding Bernina stabilizer, and I felt like I didn’t need a stronger stabilizer that would be thicker. Most important, the design did not “scrunch up” during the stitch out.
