4TB 7200rpm Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) Connection/Interface Large Form Factor (3.5") hot-swap hard drive compatible with Dell Servers. These drives will not work with standard pc ( as they do not have sata connection). Only for Servers that can accomodate SAS interface.

Physically they were clean and looked well-handled. I ran full diagnostics on all of them after installation, and every drive passed its extended SMART tests and is now running smoothly in my server. There was a small hiccup in the listing details, which prompted me to reach out to the seller for clarification. What really stood out to me, though, was the seller’s communication. They responded the same day... on a weekend, after hours... at around 9:00pm my time and within about two hours of my original message. They were quick, professional, and genuinely willing to help. It’s rare to see that level of responsiveness, and it’s clear they care about making sure their customers have a good experience. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the purchase. Review: Great value and came new! - Didn’t need the caddy but the drive delivers as expected. I bought this by mistake as I meant to get the 2.5”, this is 3.5”, but I found a spot in the disk array and it powered right up. Speed topped out at 300MB/s but that may be the array more than the disk. Don’t have another 3.5” array to test it on and since it’s SAS, can’t just plug it up to another server. Great value and it came new, I was expecting used!

Didn’t need the caddy but the drive delivers as expected. I bought this by mistake as I meant to get the 2.5”, this is 3.5”, but I found a spot in the disk array and it powered right up. Great hard drive. Sucks with RAID at a used scope. My R730 kept dropping it on windows until I just made it normal storage under ubuntu then it held. You may a have different expedience.
