It really blends in nicely and look a lot classier than some of the bright ones that are around. The camo fabric band is about 8" on each side.The entire weight of this is just over a pound, so you won't even feel it in your backpack. Certainly a lot easier to tote around than a ground sleeping system: pad, sleeping bag, tarp, etc.You can take the cording out of the channel and use this as a ground cover or a tarp for your camping/tenting, windcover, etc.This doesn't have to be 'just a hammock' Wherever you need some added protection: put this to use. The dimensions are 102x55"This is well made and the hardware and cording are heavy tensile strength. Personally, we will be using this with a daisy chain strapping system, so as not to damage the tree bark with the cording.Everything fits into the attached pouch within one minute. There's room in the pouch for extra carabiners or extra straps, if you need.Great color (deep hunter green) and well made.
