However, the measurement of the hinges to the toilet bowl were off and there is no flexibility. I think this will be the case for most older toilet bowls. My son snapped the lid clips on the last toilet seat, but it was old and weathered anyway. Make sure you measure your lid, this one is longer than the “regular/round” shaped lids. I love the twist-lock clips to take these on and off, makes cleaning and installation a breeze. And it’s really brightened up the look of my whole bathroom which is a big plus!
