You do not add a T or connected under the sink feeding from the water supply under the basin. It requires plumbing knowledge to install yes. But once installed is a great looking sprayer. Modern looking and well made. If installed properly there will be no leaks and it will function as designed. Read a post about hot water filtering to the cold water supply when the valve is left in the open position. This installation was made by tying off the water supply of the sink. Is not a flaw in the design is jus installed wrong. Again, it needs its own dedicated water supply. It will function as designed and look gorgeous too. Other post claim that hot water is inverted when open to hot. Also false. If you follow the directions and plumb it right it will function right.
