My favorite thing about them is they’re consistent and available just about everywhere. Review: Perfect gauge - Threw these on my Sterling JP70, and they do what they do. I've always played 10s but with the 7 string, I guess the tension is so much more. When bend a string, it seems to be harder to do, or maybe my fingers need to hit the gym lol. But these have lasted about 6 months already, nice and crisp. I play every day for at least 2 hours and as long as you're not a grub with dirty hands, these strings should last and sound great for a bit. ## Features - Ernie Ball Slinkys are played by legends around the world including Slash, Jimmy Page, Metallica, Eric Clapton, and more - Bright, balanced tone - Element Shield Packaging prolongs string life and keeps strings as fresh as the day they were made - Made in California, USA with the finest and freshest materials ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0002CZVYQ | | Best Sellers Rank | #669 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #12 in Electric Guitar Strings | | Body Material Type | Nickel plated | | Brand | Ernie Ball | | Brand Name | Ernie Ball | | Coating Description | coated | | Color | Super (9-52) | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 1,370 Reviews | | Finish Type | Uncoated | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00749699126232 | | Included Components | Set of 7 strings (9-52 gauge) | | Instrument | Electric Guitar | | Item Type Name | Electric Guitar Strings | | Item Weight | 1.12 ounces | | Manufacturer | Ernie Ball Music Man | | Manufacturer Part Number | P02623 | | Model Name | Super Slinky | | Model Number | P02623 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Electric Guitar | | Set Name | Super Slinky | | Sound Profile | Balanced | | String Gauge | .009 | | String Material Type | Nickel | | UPC | 749699126232 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | None. | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Ernie Ball - **Color:** Super (9-52) - **Instrument:** Electric Guitar - **String Gauge:** .009 - **String Material Type:** Nickel ## Images ![Ernie Ball 7-String Super Slinky Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings, 9-52 Gauge (P02623) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Kis5AeoiL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My go-to budget strings! *by K***A on July 29, 2026* You really can’t go wrong with Ernie Ball strings.
