But my diabetes has also taught me that around 50% of Fiber is broken down to Glucose by the human body and used as such From my experiences I recommend only counting 50% of fiber as passing as fiber, the rest as digestible carbs. What the "...Atkins Net Carbs" means is not defined and without the scientific method can only be assumed to be "decoration" and thereby completely inaccurate and not worthy of consideration. Just my view as a man who has lost brain cells due to low blood sugars caused by believing the numbers presented in the Atkins products. Often 50-80% carbs shown in the nutritional information prevents the low blood sugars. If you burn the number of carbs you consume in a day only, you won't gain weight. Relying on Protein to fulfill the roll is a fools errand as gluconeogenesis caused by insufficient glycogen & glucose will cause you to burn the muscles to produce glucose instead, removing them from the burning of glucose and fat. The loss of muscle weight to lose weight is in absolutely no way a smart decision. **Q: Is this the price for 1 box?** A: I normally spend about$6 for a box of five. last time I ordered them they were $5.86 per box.
