Simply roll the front wheel over the pivot clamp, which then locks the front wheel firmly in position; using the bikes own weight to keep secure. The bike has no centre stand and as an older rider it was worrying balancing it on my own. Bought this front wheel choc not expecting too much, how wrong was I! Assembled easily and sturdy, getting it on the stand was a cinch just walked it in under gentle power. Voila! Made raising bike with rear paddock a cinch. Very stable and chain maintenance and oil change so simple. I thought getting off would present difficulties - but no - walked it of first time, easy peasy. Delighted, highly recommend.

It allows the bike [180 kg plus and with a 17 inch front wheel] to remain vertical, so as to enable deployment of a paddock stand. I wouldn't use it on its own for long term garage storage, though. It comes with a set of floor bolts to affix the stand to a concrete garage floor if required.

**Q: I've bought this for a 300cc trail bike so the front tyre is not very wide.  Which the 3 slots for the tilt plate should I use. Its a bit wobbly**
A: Hi, it’s trial and error really as front tires are all different sizes, as I mainly carry touring bikes. The front tire is much thicker than yours.. 
that’s a start by adjusting the rocker other than that may have to fill it out with something.

**Q: What drill bit size do I need for the 4 anchor bolts?**
A: Sorry I have many anchored mine it just sits at the end of my shed. Had no probs getting bikes off and on.

**Q: What is the maximum width tyre that can fit this**
A: It is 150mm across the front plate where your front tyre fits.

My bike is a 750 Honda shadow.

**Q: Would it work for a Vespa Scooter?**
A: Probably not because it is designed for bigger wheels e.g. 17 inches and there is no adjustment on this particular item

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy rack

Pleasantly surprised to see how sturdy this is. I was torn between this model versus a model described as 'professional'. I half expected this to be a bit flimsy but took a chance on it. No complaints on the quality. Haven't tried bolting it into a trailer or to a concrete floor yet but it comes pre-drilled and with some expanding floor bolts. Easy to put together in a few minutes. Got me out of a bind with a bike that only had a side stand. I imagine this will last me forever.
