Feeling better, I let the load run its course. After I put them in the dryer, they came out smelling fairly strong (from the heat) and I laid them out to finish air drying. My results/conclusion: 1. So do not use this product on wool. Either use a product specifically for wool, or use a shampoo that does not contain conditioner. Baby shampoo works very well. **Q: can I use it for bras?** A: Yes! It's perfect! I've been using Forever New powder for years with my expensive French bras (wash by hand and line dry after every wearing) and they last for years, so not so expensive in the long run. (I NEVER put them in the washing machine!) I think the scent is very mild and fresh - I like it. **Q: About how many loads of wash will one get from a 32oz bottle?** A: Gosh, I really haven't counted, but it is a LOT. We have a front-loading washing machine so I usually just put a heaping capful in, and the cap, as you can see, is not particularly deep. For hand wash in a bathroom sink, just a teaspoon or less is all it takes, so the stuff lasts a good long time. Since the bottle contents goes by weight and the soap powder is light, i'd venture to guess you'd get over 32 uses. I love this stuff! A clerk at Nordstrom's lingerie dept. recommended it--they sell it there-- and she was correct about how great it is. Also, I only wash my undies on the Delicates cycle, with bras in a zippered wash bag, and I NEVER put any of it in the dryer. It's is too hard on the elastic.
