The telescopic facility means it is easy to transport in normal sized bags, and is so easy to attach to my cue case via the straps on the case. The downside is that this is the 3rd one I have purchased (2 different suppliers but this is the 2nd from here) because great care needs to be taken when reducing the rest down to its smallest size. I have twice been a little enthusiastic, and the end piece has come away along with 2 bits of sharp metal from the same area.
