I also saw where the Care Bear is submerged in soapy water to soak. Then take a brush and lightly scrub the stained areas. Rinse and apply minor pressure to get out excess water. DO NOT SQUEEZE. In both cases let the bear hang and dry. I guess you can tie a ribbon around the neck or under the arms and hang it up until it dries.
