This pitcher is glass and that is why I switched from a plastic pitcher to this one. Glass is also better for the environment. **Q: where is this made?** A: I believe it’s China. The glass has no markings but the stainless steel lid has “304 Food Grade” words in Chinese. **Q: I have had only a couple of weeks and the lid is now falling off every time I pour.
