I don't know resistant the hasp would be to a grinder or a bolt-cutter. The body of the lock is practically a solid piece of metal and would resist hammering. Since it is keyed, it can probably be picked without too much difficulty. I think it should be fine for low to medium security purposes.

I didn’t realize how long I’ve had this until I went to buy another one just now (which I’m only buying because I need a second one for a different lock). According to my last purchase date, I’ve had this lock for 3 years now. The entire time I’ve had it, it’s been on the door of my outside gate and it still works perfectly to this day. It’s definitely weather resistant. Very good quality, I would highly recommend!
