We glaze furniture with a thin solvent glaze from open cans.** A: If it will freely flow from a jug it should work. I have used from Acetone to auto oil with no problem at all. It seems it would accept something thicker than oil. **Q: Has Justrite ever read their product discriptions on here? 5 liters is not the same as 1 pint and 3 cubic meters is way bigger than a gallon...** A: It’s just too dang big. Half that size would be useful **Q: How long can I leave acetone sitting in there for? Does it eat away at gaskets?** A: It won't eat the gaskets, but it WILL evaporate quickly. I tried to use this for cleaning before TIG but I couldn't believe how fast it went empty with acetone. There's nothing air tight about it and the acetone evaporates in days. **Q: Can I use this to dispense acetone?** A: Don't fall for this.
