Review: It's WD 40 - what would you expect - I have used WD40 for may different applications over the years always with good results. I purchased the Gel Lube this time to lubricate the tracks on my garage door and it worked great. The gel was good in that it spread slowly and didn't run as normal WD40 would have. The smart straw is a great addition to the dispensing can. Those little red straws were always hiding themselves when they were needed.

**Q: can this be used on motorcycle chains?**
A: i think you'd be better off getting a purpose-made chain lube for your bike.  it needs to be heavy-duty and sticky, and moto lubes are just that.

**Q: Does this come out of the straw as a liquid or a string of gel?**
A: Comes out like a foam but doesn’t drip. I love it better than the other because of that.

**Q: Would this be good to lubricate the track of a sliding glass door?**
A: I would only assume so as the higher viscosity would last longer in the track plus, the roller axels.  If this doesn't work, you may have to have new nylon rollers installed.  Certainly worth trying the gel lube.

**Q: Is it safe to use this for bicycle that is stored in garage to avoid it and moving parts from rusting?**
A: yes, it is safe, Use any petroleum product to oil the bike for storage

I have used WD40 for may different applications over the years always with good results. I purchased the Gel Lube this time to lubricate the tracks on my garage door and it worked great. The gel was good in that it spread slowly and didn't run as normal WD40 would have. The smart straw is a great addition to the dispensing can. Those little red straws were always hiding themselves when they were needed.

This product intrigued me, and I've been trying it out. I have a Hi-Lift jack mounted on the front of a Jeep. I used this on various lube points. It has stood up to months of exposure to wind and weather, and the gel lube is still there. I used it on the inside of the doors on my classic Chevy truck. My locks, latches, and window regulators are all working smoothly, and the product has remained in place for a good while. I used it on the outside door latches, hood latch, and hood hinges. I was able to get all the hood hinge squeaks to go away, and I don't have white lithium grease residue everywhere. I feel like the jury is still out on this product, but it's looking really good so far. As things stand now, I've used this almost everywhere I would have used spray white lithium grease, and the results are very promising. When I finally use up the original can, I will definitely purchase another.
