The instructions were very clear, all pieces and hardware screws were clearly labled and nothing was missing or damaged.I used a regular hand held phillips head screw driver to assemble the pieces as this is what it reccommended in the instructions. All wooden pieces of this set were wrapped and carefully packed into the strong cardboard box which was then placed in an desertcart shipping box. I was very impressed, as I had read in some earlier reviews that not everyone had received their set in such good condition. I think my GrandDarling will be very pleased with this set and because of the great quality of this furniture, I went ahead and also ordered the kitchen set for her. I will write a review for that after it arrives and I've put it together!
