### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to start, difficult to master.

I started with a 12 hole ocarina and moved to this one because it's so tiny and cute. I love that I can just go about my whole day with this thing hanging on my neck. I can play a bit any time I have a minute to kill. The small size also has it's drawbacks; I have average sized male hands, but I have no issue reaching the holes. However, it is more difficult, but not impossible to play perfectly in tune because of breath balancing. The amount of breath you need going up the scale does not increase evenly. An experienced ear can adjust and sound very good. The beginner will still have a blast and probably not even notice the tonal issues. I play 5 or 6 instruments and I don't even care that this is out of tune sometimes because it's so much fun. I bought one for myself and one as a gift for a penny whistle playing friend of mine.
