Review: Effective fountain - This is much more effective than the one it replaced. Even on heavily overcast days, it operates intermittently. On sunnier days, it works all day. If the sun is strong enough, it will carry on for several hours after the sun goes off the panel. I assume this is because the panel is rated at 6.5 watts, but the pump only uses 2.5. So in full sun the battery charges up, and even when it’s cloudy, there’s enough power to pump some of the time. I did mount it on a pole with a stand to keep the panel at the best angle to the sun. As supplied, there is just a pair of legs to prop it up, which near my pond would have left it overshadowed by nearby plants. The pump is supplied with a foam disc which will support its weight and allow it to float on the pond surface. It’s a cheap but effective way to avoid the problem I had with my old pump, which had to stand on the bottom of a sloping pond, so had to be propped up with stones to stop it fallling over. I’ve only had it a week, so don’t know how long it will last, but so far it looks like good value for money. Review: Good - Good solar foundation but it stop working ## Features - 6.5 W solar panel: This floating solar fountain water pump is an upgrade to 6.5 W high quality solar panels. It allows the water pump to work continuously even if the sunlight is weak - Environmentally-friendly battery: Solar water fountain pump with built-in battery, automatic storage of solar energy, real green solar water pump. It fully exploits the solar energy source, it still works for an hour after darkness, which is very environmentally friendly - 6 different water spray devices: 6 different nozzles can meet your different requirements for the jet height or jet shape. The height can be adjusted by changing the nozzles to avoid spillage from the basin. Your garden would definitely attract the attention of passers-by. Give your garden an amusing decoration with the solar water pump - Helpful advice: The product has an automatic shut-off protection and automatically stops when it is taken out of the water.
