Titanium wrap is engineered to be stronger than most wraps and more durable for improved thermal performance and reliability, withstanding 1800-degree Fahrenheit direct heat and 2500-degree intermittent heat. It promotes increased flow for improved performance while reducing temperature and vibration breakdown. Perfect for any automotive or motorcycle application. I have a ball and socket flange that is at the end of my headers, and I want to stop before and start again after it.** A: Yeah, can use stainless ties to hold the cut off section and start again **Q: Does this wrap last a long time or does it need replaced over time?** A: It becomes hard and somewhat more brittle when heated over time, but should a long time since made of volcanic rock which doesn't deteriorate easily under heat. I think I read somewhere that volcanoes get hot and the rock doesn't erode much (smiling). **Q: Is it possible to wrap headers already installed on the car ?** A: yes. see my picture. It sucks. but i have been at the car stuff for 35yrs. I had to jack the car up to zip tie the bottom headers. if you have time and patience it's not that bad. **Q: i have a bobcat with a small leak on the exhaust located inside the engine causing temp sensor to go off every15 min. will this product reduce heat?** A: Inside the engine?
