Review: Recommended Supplement to Prevent Kidney Stones - These were recommended by my urologist to help prevent me from having so many kidney stones. I have only just started taking them so not sure about the outcome. I see a specialized urologist and he swears by these to provide your body with citrate to prevent stones. Keep in mind everyone has different types stones and while citrate will help mine, it might not help yours so consult your urologist. They have a very slight smell (like any supplement) but no taste because they are capsules. Easy to swallow. They don’t actually provide pain relieved from stones, they are a preventative measure. I would recommend consulting your doctor on what medications to mix based on ingredients. Just to update this review I have now been taking these supplements for a couple of months and I have been kidney stone free. I’m not sure what the long term outcome will be, but so far so good.
